About the Fuel & Trip Cost

Plan a road trip budget. Enter the distance, your vehicle's mileage in kilometres per litre and the price of fuel to see how many litres you need and the total cost, including a round trip and the share for each passenger.

How to use it

  1. Enter the distance in km and your mileage in km per litre.
  2. Enter the fuel price per litre.
  3. Tick "Round trip" and set passengers to split the cost.

How do I find my car's mileage?

Fill the tank, note the odometer, drive normally, then refill. Divide the kilometres driven by the litres needed to refill.
